What does 'Partner for Success', mean to us? We strive to provide exceptional service and operate as a faithful and trusted business partner. We believe once we achieve that, we help to enable success for our customers and, in turn, our company is also successful. It's one of the primary principles we live by.
afxMedia, LLC was founded in June, 2012 by a father and son team. Based in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, afxMedia serves Enterprise, Small and Medium Business and Home/Home Office customers in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the New York City area.
afxMedia delivers services, solutions and support across a broad area of technologies including networks, conferencing, desktop, mobility, cloud (including Office 365), multimedia and media streaming and web and application development.
Currently active customer projects include wireless network upgrades, remote presence, moving to Office 365, domain/web hosting, website development and mobile application development.
“We complement our internal development team with trusted partners that bring unique skills and industry insight to help us solve complex problems. afxMedia is one of those partners we have used on a regular basis. Most recently afxMedia worked on a Remote Presence proof of concept and pilot for us. The quality of work was great, documentation produced was very detailed, the insight and industry analysis was spot on and thorough. afxMedia works seamlessly as an extended member of my team.”
“I’m responsible for Senior Executive Services and sometimes that means we need to provide home support for networks and video conferencing. We call on afxMedia for help with challenging issues, networks integrated with home theater, music systems, phone and security systems as well as upgrades and wholesale replacements. The guys at afxMedia always plan ahead, are very thorough and provide excellent system documentation when they’re finished. They’re a good fit and extension to our team.”
"We recently asked afxMedia to attend and present at a technology innovation session with our CTO. They have established a good reputation with our team in several areas of telecoms, mobility and conferencing where they are proven experts. A full morning of live hands on demonstrations matched with statistics, trends and forecasts was very well received by senior managers."

About the Founders
Jim Sparkman, Founder
After 28 years with Mars, Inc. (6 years consulting and 22 years as an associate), Jim retired at the end of 2011 to start afxMedia, LLC in hopes of building something he's been passionate about, but like many others, only dreamed about for quite some time.
Jim started with Mars in the engineering area developing and programming Process and Packaging Control Systems, just before the Allen-Bradley and Modicon PLC days, laying out I/O diagrams and writing custom code in the C language. For his last project, Jim was responsible for designing and programing controls for an entire packaging line, end to end from carton fill to case palletizing.
6 years later, Jim moved from Controls to IT, specifically to Mars Information Services, Inc. At Mars IS, Jim held a number of positions from Infrastructure Support and Development, to Site IT Manager, ending with Telecoms Support and Development Manager for Mars, Inc. As a final project in that role, Jim was responsible for updating Mars' mobile strategy, implementing Mobile Device Management (MDM), introducing iPhone and iPad as corporate approved and supported devices and a BYOD program for Android.
